Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the peer tutoring method developed by Nancy Falchikov in the teaching of Nahwu for first-level students at Ma'had IPMAFA. This method was chosen to address the differences in educational backgrounds and levels of understanding among students. The theory used is Nancy Falchikov's framework, which emphasizes the importance of interaction among students in the learning process. The method applied is an experiment with a qualitative approach. Data were collected from 33 students through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman method and triangulation to ensure the accuracy of the information. The results of the study show that the implementation of the peer tutoring method is effective in improving students' understanding of Nahwu. Interaction between students who better understand the material and those who do not not only enhances learning outcomes but also creates a collaborative learning environment. This study concludes that, if implemented properly, the peer tutoring method can significantly contribute to the improvement of the quality of Nahwu teaching at Ma'had IPMAFA.
