However, their emergence has generated debates within Islamic law, particularly regarding the alleged presence of multiple contracts (multi akad) considered inconsistent with sharia principles. This study aims to examine the ‘illah (effective legal cause) underlying the prohibition claims of online food delivery by analyzing the hadiths frequently used to support such arguments. The method employed is hadith criticism, including sanad and matn analysis, combined with a contextual approach to assess the relevance of these hadiths in light of technological developments and modern transaction systems. The findings indicate that online food delivery practices, especially those using the cash on delivery (COD) system, do not contain the ‘illah referred to in the relevant hadiths, such as elements of riba, gharar, or prohibited contract combinations. The COD mechanism, including the courier’s role in advancing payment to the seller, is better understood as part of an operational system aimed at achieving transactional efficiency rather than as an independent debt contract. Therefore, online food delivery should not be categorized as a form of liberalism in muamalah, but rather as an efficient and adaptive practice within the framework of Islamic commercial law.
Zainuddin Zuhri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/2167 Tue, 31 Mar 2026 06:59:22 +0700 Pengaruh Profitabilitas dan Skala Usaha terhadap Nilai Perusahaan Sektor Perbankan di Indonesia https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1876
This study analyzes the effect of profitability and firm size on firm value in the banking sector in Indonesia, and evaluates its implications for the stability of the national financial system. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), while firm size is proxied by the natural logarithm of total assets. Firm value is measured using Price to Book Value (PBV). The data were obtained from 43 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2024, selected using a purposive sampling method, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value, indicating that strong financial performance enhances investor perception and strengthens corporate resilience. In contrast, firm size has a negative and insignificant effect, which may reflect potential inefficiencies in large-scale banks. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on firm value, although the model explains only 18.06% of the variation in firm value. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening profitability as the primary foundation of firm value in the banking sector.
Nurul Hidayat, As’adi Khas, Buhairi Buhairi, Nur Diana Khalida, Rahmat Zulkarnain, Wakik Wakik ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1876 Tue, 31 Mar 2026 07:03:26 +0700 Pengaruh Konten Unboxing dan Review Affiliator Tiktok Shop terhadap Minat Beli Produk Fashion Mahasiswa Perbankan Syariah IPMAFA https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1952
The digitalization of the economic sector has driven the emergence of various innovations, one of which is e-commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop, which are widely favored by Generation Z, including students of the Islamic Banking Study Program at IPMAFA. Common marketing strategies used on this platform include unboxing content and affiliate reviews that leverage the For You Page (FYP) feature, particularly for trending fashion products. This study aims to analyze the effect of unboxing content and affiliate reviews on students’ purchase intention. The research employs a quantitative method with a simple random sampling technique, resulting in 69 samples drawn from a total population of 83 respondents using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results indicate that unboxing content does not have a significant effect on purchase intention, while affiliate reviews have a positive and significant effect, with a t-statistic value of 4.914 (> 1.99495). Simultaneously, unboxing content and affiliate reviews have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, contributing 38% to the variance.
Zyayan Afiana, Ahmad Dimyati ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1952 Tue, 31 Mar 2026 07:08:04 +0700 Pengaruh Religiusitas, Atribut Produk Islam, dan Kualitas Pelayanan terhadap Minat Menabung Anggota di KSPPS KAS Kocika Artha Sejahtera Jepara https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1919
This study aims to analyze the influence of religiosity, Islamic product attributes, and service quality on members’ saving interest at KSPPS KAS Kocika Artha Sejahtera. The method employed is a qualitative literature review, based on the analysis of academic literature, government regulations, and relevant official reports. The results indicate that the creative economy and the halal industry are strategic sectors with significant contributions to national economic growth and substantial opportunities in the global market. Various regulations, such as the Law on Creative Economy and the Law on Halal Product Assurance along with their implementing policies, have supported the development of an ecosystem that fosters the integration of these sectors through halal certification, intellectual property protection, digitalization, and supply chain strengthening. However, several challenges remain, including low halal literacy among micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM), high certification costs, and the lack of optimal policy harmonization across sectors and regions. Therefore, inclusive, adaptive, and collaborative public policies are needed to strengthen the synergy between the creative economy and the halal industry. With effective regulatory support, Indonesia has strong potential to become a globally competitive and sustainable halal creative economy hub.
Rafi Alkaf Asy Syafi, Hendri Hermawan Adi Nugraha ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1879 Tue, 31 Mar 2026 15:30:21 +0700 Peran Pembiayaan Murabahah dalam Pemberdayaan UMKM di KSPPS Yaummi Maziyah Assa’adah Cabang Trangkil https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/2171
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play a crucial role in the national economy; however, they continue to face major constraints, particularly limited access to financing. Sharia Microfinance Institutions, such as Savings and Financing Cooperatives (KSPPS), provide alternative financing solutions based on Islamic principles, one of which is through the murabahah contract. This study aims to analyze the role of murabahah financing in empowering UMKM and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at KSPPS Yaummi Maziyah Assa’adah Trangkil Branch. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a field research method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that murabahah financing contributes to increasing business capital, enhancing business capacity, and promoting members’ economic independence. However, its impact on business sustainability has not been optimal due to limited mentoring and supervision. Supporting factors include ease of access to financing, the application of Sharia principles, and members’ business experience. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited human resources, insufficient business mentoring, and fluctuations in UMKM income. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating financing and mentoring in the empowerment of MSMEs within the framework of Islamic microfinance.
Diah Martiana ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/2171 Tue, 31 Mar 2026 19:42:54 +0700 Dinamika Pertumbuhan dan Potensi Keuangan Syariah dalam Mewujudkan Ekonomi Nasional yang Berkelanjutan https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1960
The Islamic financial sector in Indonesia has demonstrated an increasingly strategic role in supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Although the assets of Islamic banking have exceeded IDR 1,050 trillion as of March 2026, its market share remains relatively small, at approximately 7.5%–8%, indicating that its potential has not yet been fully optimized. This study aims to analyze the development of the Islamic financial sector, identify key challenges—particularly in terms of financial literacy and digital transformation—and formulate strategies to strengthen institutional capacity in the digital economy era. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, utilizing secondary data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Indonesia, and the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance for the 2024–2026 period. The findings reveal a gap between asset growth and the relatively low level of public literacy, as reflected in a literacy index of 39.11%, which is lower than the inclusion rate. This gap gives rise to the phenomenon of the floating mass, which may reduce customer loyalty. In addition, digital transformation plays a crucial role in expanding access to financial services and addressing competition from fintech. The study also highlights the importance of industry consolidation, the integration of social and commercial financial instruments, and the strengthening of the real sector, particularly MSMEs. Overall, the development of Islamic finance requires integrated policy support, enhancement of human capital quality, and optimization of digital technology to strengthen its competitiveness and contribution to the national economy.
Zalfa Khoirun Nisa, Fadilatur Rohmah, Rosiana Aolia Safitri, Fisit Suharti ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ipmafa.ac.id/index.php/jiose/article/view/1960 Tue, 31 Mar 2026 20:36:59 +0700
