Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of the Amtsilati Nahwu method in the context of Quranic memorization at Darul Falah Amtsilati Islamic Boarding School. The Amtsilati method is applied as an instructional approach that integrates the understanding of Nahwu to accelerate and enhance students' ability to memorize the Quran. This study involves a group of students at Darul Falah Amtsilati Islamic Boarding School during a specified period. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data is collected through participatory observation, interviews, and the analysis of documents related to the implementation of the Amtsilati Nahwu method in Quranic memorization activities. Additionally, students' responses to this method were gathered as crucial data to understand its impact. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Amtsilati Nahwu method positively influences the Quranic memorization process at Darul Falah Amtsilati Islamic Boarding School. Students demonstrated improvement in understanding the structure of Arabic sentences and the ability to apply Nahwu understanding in reading and memorizing the Quran. Furthermore, students considered this method practical and relevant to their learning needs in the religious school. This study contributes to understanding the implementation of the Amtsilati Nahwu method in teaching Quranic memorization, especially in the context of Islamic boarding schools. The findings of this study can assist Islamic educational institutions in designing more effective curricula and learning strategies by integrating Nahwu instruction with Quranic memorization.
